Honestly faster to cycle the 2 on the volcanic island. They respawn faster so less time spent on resting and load screens and there is less distance between them.

campfires are so unreliable since every single time I get ambushed regardless of what camp kit I use and I think if you get ambushed it doesn't count towards the 7 days required wait for dragons to respawn. I prefer the harve village 3 dragon route because you can just quickly run to harve village after the 3rd dragon then press doze of 21-24 times and rise and repeat

So, at the end of the story, you can repeatedly fight the final dragon. Why not equip the ring that the sphinx gives you (the one that makes you deal no damage) on yourself and a couple of pawns, and have everyone in the party try to repeatedly proc bump and lift on that dragon?

AFK Wyrm life crystals Method 1 Dragon / Drake

Hi all, please see my method for consistent AFK wyrm crystal / gold farming in DD2 (apologies in advance if similar farming methods have been posted)

Setup
3 thieves - arisen (you) and 2 pawns as a thief.
1 mage (stamina pawn mage)
All thieves spam carve (pawns will mostly use this skill with setup - see below!)
Arisen (you) Use formless feint and then jimmy controller or keyboard to constantly spam carve then go afk 😊

ARISEN (you)
Vocation - Thief
Skills - Formless Feint (take no damage - always active) MUST HAVE
Pilfer (can steal from the dragon one time only when it's vulnerable (option this can be given to a pawn in one slot)
Core skill - Bump and Lift - (carve can steal items) MUST HAVE
Ring 1 - Ring of derision (deal no DMG)
Or/and weakest daggers.
Ring 2 - Stamina Increase
Augments - more stamina and reduce stamina consumption (advanced vocations give some nice augments for this).

Pawn 1
Vocation - Thief
Skills - Formless Feint (take no damage - always active) MUST HAVE IN  ALL SLOTS
Optional PILFER (can steal from the dragon one time only when it's vulnerable (ONE SKILL SLOT ONLY)
Core skill - Bump and Lift - (carve can steal items) MUST HAVE
Ring 1 - Ring of derision (deal no DMG)
Or/and weakest daggers.
Ring 2 - Stamina Increase ring
Augments - stamina increase and any that reduce stamina consumption.

Pawn 2
same as above pawn 1 setup
Except if pilfer selected above don't use pilfer here make sure all skill slots are formless feint

Pawn 3
Vocation - Mage (make Tanky)
Skills - Celestial Paean (Infinite Stamina  - pawn will always activate - enables use of formless feint for thieves to be active permanently) MUST HAVE IN ALL SKILL SLOTS
Optional - Argent Succor in 1 SLOT - heal pawns & arisen from distance if you feel there not using formless feint permanently / consistently and need range healing)
Ring 1 - Ring of derision (deal no DMG)
Or/and
Staff - legions might (res staff) or wooden staff
Ring 2 - DEFENSIVE
ARMOR - High defenses
Diligence augmentation - recover from being downed / crawling faster - after using celestial paean the mage will be out of stamina and I believe this reduces recovery time for restoring from this state.
Both defense augmentations.

This afk method is more consistent in Ng+ as can upgrade formless feint to reduce stamina used with this skill active by half.

After doing this method and leaving for an hour,   I had over 700 wyrncrystals between me and pawns. (RNG based could get way more or could get less. It's 2% chance on carve hit for you and pawns to rob target ( dragon) of item). I recommend farming the dragon by "Bridge of Theodracus the Second" as it doesn't fly away if not enough  damage dealt. The dragon will eventually die but it will take hours with this setup.

To get the above pawn setup easier consult with a friend(s) to set there pawn up with above.

You do realize you don't need to enhance EVERY piece of equipment you find or buy, right? Honestly for 95% of players, it's nice to know, but they probably won't bother. You're meant to find the vocation you like best, and the gear you like the look of best, and enhance THAT with the crystals. You can do more if you like, but it's entirely optional. [Also, you must really not care about dragon's plague - which I still think is the dumbest idea Capcom could've come up with] Dragons were a PITA enough when they didn't give your pawn rabies...
