Just a correction - 12 threads, not 16.

Please start comparing performance between these mini PCs. They’re very similar and it can be hard to determine what the better buy is just based on the spec sheet.

I'm more interested in the NPB7 using the i7 13700H. It would be good to get a comparison with the UM773 Lite. Can you make it happen? :D

In the midst of it, I realize that you're in North Carolina. I am in a small place called Elm City myself just between Wilson and Rocky Mount. We have been up towards your neck of the woods to eat more often than not to Raleigh though. Since developing CMT disease, I have found myself in bed more often than not and little gaming machines have helped to pass my time.

Just amazing how much PC can be packed into a package of that size.

Heads up about minisforum if you're not a youtuber. They might send you one with unusable drivers outta the gate for your ethernet port/wifi card. Had to get a external rj45 to get my hx80g up and running😂.

I’ve been hoping for a review of this unit! It’s such a great looking little machine, and I’m very tempted to pick one up as an upgrade to my little 6th gen NUC for retro gaming. The i7 option looks very interesting.

I was a little puzzled why so many of those mini-PCs had dual LAN ports, then I remembered that is not uncommon for industrial and scientific equipment to use Ethernet as a interface to communicate with PCs.

Out of all the mini PCs you’ve tested so far which is the best for playing AAA game?

A 12th gen i5 without iris graphics just seems odd. I am also surprised that the mention of it only utilising 3200Mhz RAM was missing. Once you add the RAM and storage it just doesn't seem to be of great monetary value, so I think that this will bypass a lot of real interest.

Those back USB-C ports should have been USB4 to be perfect :-/

I got two questions:
1. Can you disable the E cores in the bios?
2. Does it have a fan stop mode when not under load?

I'm looking to run this as a pfsense router with the dual 2.5gbe nic's.
