The Spinners- Love (I'm So Glad) I Found You

The spectacular (IMO, anyway) A-Side of this iconic vocal group's second release. It came out in the Fall of 1961 on Harvey Fuqua's Tri-Phi label (Mr. Fuqua also co-wrote this harmony filled masterwork with his then wife [I believe they were newlyweds at the time], Gwen Gordy). Featuring the brilliant lead vocals of the unsung Mr. Bobby Smith. At the time of this recording, Mr. Fuqua was practicing these cats hard, bestowing his great knowledge of harmony upon the quintet. Suffice it to say, practice made perfection.
