Arcade mode is one of two single player game modes in Penarium. You have to continually destroy barrels whilst avoiding being killed. There is no end to this game mode and the further you get, i.e. the more barrels you destroy, the harder the obstacles will get. In order to unlock this trophy you need to destroy 150 barrels in a single arcade game. The obstacles in which you will face will reflect those of the arena in which you choose. You can play on any of the three career mode arenas, however, I found the second arena to be the easiest.

The obstacles in which you will encounter in Arcade mode are somewhat random. Although they are the same ones in which you experience during Career mode, the order in which they appear is random. The obstacles will change after every five barrels that are destroyed, and the higher the level you reach, the harder and faster they become.

Below are some tips that will help you unlock this trophy:
[LIST][*]Lean each traps movement and attack patterns. This will prove vital in being able to successfully avoid being hit and killed.
[*]Use full advantage of being able to teleport from one side of the arena to the other by walking to the left or the right through the invisible wall. For this exact reason, this is why I found the second arena the easiest as the bottom platform links up perfectly without you needing to jump. By doing this you can quickly dodge traps by walking through the wall.
[*]Purchase all the cards from the shop. These cards award you with special abilities for a short period of time and become available every 15 barrels that are destroyed when you no longer have a card active. At the start of each Arcade game, you can pick which cards you want to use that game (if you have purchased more than four cards). This will cost you 35 coins each time. Alternatively, they can be randomly selected without a financial penalty. Only four different types of Cards can be active in each Arcade game.
[*]I found the best cards to use were the Barrels and the Shield. The Barrels card will spawn multiple barrels at one time, which allows you to quickly collect them and proceed to the next trap. This can be very useful when you are faced with a trap that is difficult to survive. The Barrels cards will last for 15 seconds. The Shield card will reward you with a shield which somewhat acts as a second life as it is not restricted by a timed active period. If you are hit by any trap whilst holding the shield the shield will be broken but you will not die. However, if you fall off the platforms entirely you will die, regardless if you have the shield or not. You will have the Shield permanently until it is destroyed by a trap, or if you die.
[*]Learn the positioning of each platform within the level. Knowing how many jumps it takes to get to a certain platform, or where abouts you need to jump from to reach another platform is vital as this will help you plan your route towards the barrels.
[*]I found the second arena to be the easiest as you could easily avoid most traps by walking from right to left or left to right on the bottom platform to teleport from one side of the level to the other. This proves very effective against the jumping dragons, as well as the numerous types of heat seeking rockets.[/LIST]
