I started warframe about 2-3 weeks ago. I was averaging a mr a day until I hit level 8 and I really started taking my time. Warframe is such a big game with soooo much stuff to do. I’ve been mainly buying cheaper prime frames and working towards crafting them for a good mix of mr and enjoying and learning the game. As well as getting the better guns I can and crafting and using them. To anyone else new. The cedo at mr8 is absolutely insane

After you beat certain missions, you’ll unlock two versions of warframe’s “nemesis system” and have the opportunity to get disgustingly OP weapons that are not MR locked. Looking at you tenet arca plasmor and kuva zarr..

Also nightwave rewards are higher yield and provide more progression towards gradually leveling up weapons/frames to get the MR up

Best tip for new players is get the cerata when you hit mr 7, will help with leveling stuff and if you like that play style of using thrown heavy attack melee you’ll be hard pressed to find a better melee that absolutely nukes all regular enemies from lvl5 to 1000+

Well…..i started playing i believe somewhere around july. I gotten the hang of things with warframe and have fun with it. You weren’t wrong in saying that mastery rank is annoying (which it really is) but when you add things up. It made rethink so i can work on it.

Not bad Flo! I’d really recommend talking about Railjack intrinsics on here as well. It’s like 75, 000 mastery for free that new players get access to very early through pub matchmaking. Or in recruiting chat, asking for someone to run Railjack with you isn’t as bad as most new players might think.

Best thing is that Railjack mastery requires 0 slots of any kind, and is quite fast too. I helped a friend go from MR 8 to 9 from a half hour of Railjack, no boosters even.

It took me 2 years from rank 1 to legendary 1, first month and a half i was completly lost in this game, little by little i start to learn the mechanics, by now i only miss kuva and tenet weapons, i really hate that mechanic of leveling each of those weapons 5 times, but eventually i'll do.

Most dojo weapons require forma... they aren't easy to craft. Go for other easier sources. Also he didn't mention the companions. Each different type of pet has like 3 different variations where each one gives mastery. There's also weapons that you will find just by playing adn they are really easy to craft.

Later on in the mid game, you will unlock railjack, that's an insta easy boost of 50-60k mastery.

The requirement on each level increases exponentially, so don't stress out after lvl 10. After that there's already plenty of endgame weapons you can use and other that you unlock after 11, 12, 13 that can easily take you to complete the whole star chart.

Oh and for the background leveling, this only works if you are in a squad, it won’t work on solo

I want to emphasise that there are SOME weapons in the Dojo, the Amprex, Ignis wraith, rubico, arca scisco and a few others that are SOLID weapons. I upgraded to Rubico prime, but MR30 and I DO still have those others! most of the other weapons are pretty meh. [though atomos is pretty decent, at least until you get a kuva nukor.]

no need to click on primary or ... just click on warframes / weapons / companions . who ever really wants to be smart, take your new stuff with you into railjack missions, all kills with railjack weapon ( when you are in the ship ), give huge xp, so its like 10 min in railjack and u are maxed, however u can even use Necramech and even max it .

Other farming xp method is spy missions, they give you extra xp if you do perfect stealth like a true space ninja i bring un-leveled weapons it's good while farming status/important mods than all mission for early mr 4

Just get the weapons and play SO non stop its boring but you level your weapons easy, especially if there is a saryn or a nuke mirage. Nothing else gives so much affinity then SO if you have a lvl 30 frame go SOE you rank it in 1 run

Anyone else here made the huge mistake of sticking to the same starting frame and weapons all the way to me 5ish and came to realization there are other weapons out there and also learned how you actually progress. That would be me. Guilty and felt so stupid about it. 😅😅
