Jessica Chobot was the show. Phil is great as a cohost but she literally made the show so much fun to watch. Her personality is huge. She doesn’t back down from others. She loves “busting balls” and always had hilarious things to say while also being serious. She was so charismatic. I really hope discovery or travel channel or whoever it is gives her a chance at a new show. I still enjoyed the new season’s episode but it’s not the same without her. Phil and Heather have a ton of seasons to go to build up the synergy and cohesion that he had with Jess.

I have liked what josh gates has done with the expedition series for years up till now... Jessica and Phil were the entire show and they had great chemistry... Jessica had beauty and she was tough and tough talking as well... Jessica wasn't afraid to call Phil a dick when they were out in the field but this new girl heather seems kind of mousy and the type that just falls in line which is I think is just what josh gates wants... I watched the first show with heather and I gave it a chance and I really didn't like it because the chemistry wasn't there... I saw that in the first show they had a canister come out of it's holder and roll off the stage by itself... I just hoped that josh hasn't resorted to the tricks that the ghost adventures people do... Ghost adventures has a staging team that stages all the paranormal things that they supposedly encounter...that is a well known fact...While I know that these paranormal occurrences do happen because I've had them happen to me, I hope that josh hasn't lowered himself to staging things that happened for the sake of the show and the ratings like ghost adventures does... I really think the fans deserve the truth about why Jessica is no longer on the show... Josh owes that to the fans that have watched him for years and have helped to keep him relevant... I really think that josh made a bad business decision and dropped the ball on this one... Josh may have been completely within his rights as an employer and a producer to let Jessica go but I think he lost a little bit of his morality by doing it for the reasons that he did... But it's his toy and he can play with it anyway he wants to as long as it lasts I guess... I watch josh and the expedition series from it's very beginning but now I'm done... The show will certainly go on without me and the many other millions of fans that think as I do but I just wish that Josh would have thought this one through a little longer before making an emotional decision... Goodbye josh and goodbye expedition series...Good luck to Jessica as well in whatever she does in the future...She still has her fans that will stay faithful to her...Through it all, she kept and maintains her self respect and dignity unlike Josh Gates...Remember Ryder from years ago ?...This could be Josh's second big mistake on this show...

I want to give her a chance. Unfortunately, she is just an incredibly awkward communicator. Maybe it’s nerves. Idk. But it’s painful to watch her.
Hopefully she gets better. I want her to succeed. Cuz it was a great show with Jessica at the helm. Gotta get back to that, otherwise I see this as a last season.
Conversely, Jessica is an absolutely brilliant speaker.. A natural in front of the camera. A skill I envy.

Jessica Chobot was the show period . She made it worth watching. now it's just bottom of the barrel. What ever the reason for letting her go should have been resolved. The newbie is afraid of her own shadow. 3rd generation means nothing. That shows how much the person who made the decision to replace Chobot knows about paranormal investigating. The show is not worth watching anymore. Phil was average.

I tell you Heather is NO Jessic Chobot !!!! She’s supposed to be 3rd generation ghost hunter and she’s more scared than Josh or Phil. Jess would RUN to the sound NOT run away!!!! Plus doesn’t Heather have her own Identity???? She wears her hair like Jess and the same clothes. Be yourself. You can’t be Jessica !!!!
