Not too interested in sponsored videos. I want advice on products that you would recommend based on your experience and knowledge not because someone paid you or send you free product to do it.

Hi! I love your channel!!! I have always seen from articles that facial moisturizer is an essential part of the skin prep BEFORE makeup, and that is the only time I use facial moisturizer. I’ve always read to use it before makeup because it smoothes skin’s surface for a more even foundation or concealer application and can even help makeup to stay on longer. I’ve also read that hydrating skin underneath makeup will help skin to look less dull. Applying foundation on dry skin can cause it to look cakey.

However, I was just told by an esthetician, “moisturizers don’t hydrate the skin though, so if you’re looking for something to help your dry skin, you need a different product. (I use: face wash, a hydrating serum, sunscreen, and primer before makeup too). You don't need to apply more moisturizer before you do your makeup. Moisturizer is just part of the skincare routine.” I have dry skin but it’s not that dry...I only say that because SOMETIMES my skin feels a smidge tight but that’s it.

Anyways, my question for you: Is facial moisturizer necessary to put on before applying makeup? I just thought I’d get a 2nd opinion. Thanks!

I really don't like inkey list. SA cleanser broke me out more even when i used it once or twice a week. Niacinamide serum.. its 10% and thats too strong for beginners... in my case it broke me out in red bumps...even when i tried 5% from a different brand.. same issue.. BASICALLY im allergic to niacinamide.

Confusing when you tout adapalene alot then suddenly other products because of a brand

Dang!!! That's how I call a big sponsorship to sell products 😒 it's kinda disappointing when derms on youtube are doing that, why? Because they are products they will NEVER advice to their patients in the office, they will actually suggest and prescribe products that have been showed to be effective from years of studies. So, It feels like a scam and unprofessional coming from a professional who diagnoses and treat cancers and diseases. I know it's not her first sponsored video and I love her videos so much since they are extremely useful to me and to a lot of people but that one was just too much coming from a board certified dermatologist. I am not saying that in a disrespectful way but just in a disappointing way. Sorry.

Dermalmd acne serum is amazing! It cleared up my acne in just two weeks and it doesn’t dry out my skin. It also smells nice and feels refreshing on my face.

Can you please do a same video but with La Roche Posay products?😊 also, when can you use Niacinamide and Vitamin C in your routine if adápalene, benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin topical treatment creams are used in the routine? (Asking for a friend).

Can you use the sulfer/salycilic acid spot treatment as a preventative to chin breakouts? I already use a BP wash daily and wonder if I could pair together?

Help! I have PCOS and cant take birthcontrol anymore due to bloodclots. Since I am off I have gotten my acne back. I am 36 years old starting to get fine lines and acne now. I am confused if I should use the anti aging products or acne. My skin is pale and very sensitive

I have ordered my products and I had a question about the serums. I ordered the bha and the niacinamide serum and wanted to know if you recommend using one one day and then one the next day or if it's better to use one for say a week and then switch to the other the next week? Just wanted to clarify. Thank you

When you are having acne breakouts do you want to stick to one leave on serum like niacinamide, ect or could you add in vitamin c as well or is there a combo serum to get all the benefits? I am finding i'm having acne in my 30's, but my skin is starting to age so I want to get the most benefits.
