Most criminal cases end when the accused enters a negotiated guilty plea to specific charges. Unfortunately, many people who are completely innocent of wrongdoing end up pleading guilty because they don’t believe they can prove their innocence in court.

What if you didn’t do the Crime but still took the charge. How do you get help?

In Massachusetts two forensic workers were caught cheating. This could happen anywhere. I know the State dropped charges but what if you only took the plea because you thought you were guilty. Later evidence may prove you were not?

Plea was made to get out of jail because of lack of money.

How long back can you go to try to appeal a conviction? Even though it has been a long time, I sit here thinking about it and the problem is that the court appointed attorney never reviewed the evidence against with me or even visit me. I do believe that I can get the evidence suppressed .

What do you mean “if the plea itself was invalid” like if I were high and on drugs eg. not in my right state of mind ?

What is the time limit to be able to appeal a plea deal? Is improper representation by your attorney "like not reviewing the evidence against you before you have a suppression hearing with your client". I did not see the video or the police officers sworn affidavit among other items. If he would have taken time to review the evidence with his client he would have learned that the police officers violated his fourth amendment rights and false arrest among other civil rights violations.
