Peter Mattei is my favourite DG by a length. Thank you for posting the link to the full video. But what on earth went wrong with the stage design? None would still be better than what is shown in the full video.

Didn’t really likes the girls tone at the beginning, but wow her control is actually incredible, and I think it was just at the beginning and she changed it

Ah, the mesmerising Peter Matteo... "Vorrei et non vorrei" sentiere a "LA VOCE!!!" Pero mi pianto per mio "Masetto, " i.e. my brilliant literature which gets abandoned when "La Voce" is singing, so "LA VOCE" così ancora una volta fuggo, vado, non "andiamo" non insieme alla musica squisita, ma da solo nel mondo delle parole... but when the next book is finished..."Andiam, " baby, a La Scala!! fuggedabout Paris Opera...their Don Giovanni staging and direction - ugh!
