Best game of its kind. Graphics way ahead of its time. It's still so much fun to play, despite a choppy control and the fact that all the players depicted in the game are already retired.

Looks to be an almost arcade perfect port. only difference seeming to be Sound quality and Lower Resolution on Dreamcast.

The licensed stuff is perfectly modeled: Japan's kits, adidas Predator Accelerator cleats, and arguably one of the most beautiful World Cup balls ever, the adidas Tricolore. What is really impressive is each team's kits. Despite not being licensed they certainly match their real-life counterparts of FIFA World Cup France '98. I personally bought the Holland '98 home shirt because of this game.

The sound quality on the Dreamcast version is pretty low compared to the arcade version. But everything else looks pretty much identical.

Used to play this in the arcades. I remember I could score long shots from almost the center of the field, can't seem to do that on the DC version.

Back in the days we Europeans we were playing the PAL version which was capped at 50 FPS and was too slow. Nowadays i play the USA version on a CRT monitor and the game feels like it was supposed to feel back then... better late than never..

The Naomi version is perfect.
I have the dreamcast version that I play the most. I can't count the number of evenings with friends, they loved this game.

Tive a versao Pal e sofria de aguns slowdowns Quando se concentrava muitos jogadores .
E tenho a impressao que o jogo corria em 30fps .
Resoluçao inferior com algum serrilhado.
Ja o arcade era o vicio da escola.
Best Goal até desligarem a maquina ao fim do dia no café .
