🚨 The NuFace technology has a lot of science backing it and a more complex type is used in aesthetician offices. However, you CANNOT use just ANY serum or moisturizer with it or you will have issues like Roxy. You need to be sure you’re using a conductor gel on clean, bare skin (no skincare). If you do not, it will most definitely shock you because the microcurrent isn’t being distributed properly and you could potentially cause burns. Make sure you’re reading directions and get the right products when using devices like these! ❤

Ok so I went online to look at the IPL device I’m glad I did. If you have darker skin or if you are of a lighter skin tone but have light colored hair(such a blonde), this probably won’t work for you. It states that on the website; which sucks because it’s not for everyone but at least they put it there so that you know and don’t spend almost $400 on just for it to not work or not deliver the results you expected🤷🏾‍♀️.

Just so people are clear - the IPL device "worked" because the light flashed. It takes quite a while to see results on the hair removal effectiveness of any IPL device. I wouldn't personally say that means the device works. It would take weeks to test that not just once.

Just FYI that machine that you didn't like because it was electrocuting your face, it's supposed to be used with a jelly serum. Whenever you use the serum that comes with it it makes the shocks even on a high setting very minute you can barely feel them.

Btw IPL isn't the same as laser hair removal that is done in salons. The home devices are much less effective and are less likely to work on a variety of skin tones and hair colours.

Other than being concerned about the potential germs on the mouth exerciser, I would also be concerned about the materials used. Anyone buying one of these should make sure it comes from a reputable source and not from Amazon or wish where it’s highly likely that it’s been made in china where they can use cheap plastics that contain carcinogens
