Instead of pulling out to the middle try to find u a good bend in the lake and run it more at a angle off the bank so your kinda parallel to the bank with your hooks try to concentrate your hooks in about 15 feet of water. Also try chicken gizards they will stay on your hooks. U can also put u a bottle on a string and tie to middle of.your line to.kinda help hold the hooks up odd the bottom some
