Just a friendly reminder. For all the stuff that happened to Mark, no one blames him for it other than a handful of villains.
With Peter, for all his heroics, almost everyone calls him a clown or a failed hero. Also, constant propaganda against him happens 24/7, 365 days a year. There is no chill on hating on spidy by the general public. Only a handful see spider-man as a hero, its why when Peters bully defends spider-man, Peter gets up lifted by that. Imagine a life so garbage by everyone that being praised by your bully is a highlight of your life as a hero.
