He did a Rugby league charity game for Steve Prescott after he had retired and still was a very good player. He walked around everybody who came to watch in the clubhouse and was such a gentleman with everyone

I used to deliver to Adams fish shop a few years ago, and got to know him a bit.He loved giving and taking a bit of banter, and was genuinely a really nice bloke. And yes he’s an absolute mountain of a man.

First time I met Adam we were in a box at the Huddersfield Giants stadium. When he walked to the glass sliding doors looking out onto the pitch it was like someone turned the lights out! He’s so big in person he practically blocked out 2 doors. Top man.

I didn't know anything about this guy so great video thanks, i sat behind Gary Mason once at a Nigel Benn fight, i said quietly to my dad i cant see passed that huge guy and Gary turned around and said come and sit next to me, he had a few seats, and me and my dad chatted to him throughout the evening he was really nice and friendly guy. RIP Gary.

Adam is a great guy Matt! Back in 1991 when I was still amateur boxing, Adam and myself were 'Extras' in the film; 'The Power Of One' Daniel Craig was also in this film! That's the closest I have gotten to fame! Lol! Love & respect brother! 🙏

To be a pro boxer, a pro rugby player and have decent acting career is amazing. I always laugh at the fight scene between Adam and Brad Pitt in ‘Snatch’ because the idea the Brad could actually K/O someone like Adam is one of the daftest things I’ve ever seen on screen 😂
