Makes me think of "might as well be walking on the sun"!! GREAT idea to do the "Sometimes Vlog" on the day of the legendary Total Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024!!! AWESOME pics!!! Saw it from my patio in Elyria, Ohio outside of Cleveland n it DID get TOTALLY dark, as we were in the direct pathway!!! Didn't have the glasses n looked directly at it several times quickly, but had no problems. Last time in 2017 I saw it directly as well on my back porch in Elyria AGAIN. I looked directly at it in awe for like a half hour n saw coloured spots n everything was green n purple for hours afterwards. No damage luckily!!! When I was a little kid like 8 or so I remember there was a total eclipse n our Mom made us come in the house n shut all the doors n shades n curtains n had to wait it out that way, cuz back in the 1960's they were not as educated about the results of the eclipse!!! But I TOTALLY remember the fear n putting all our toys away from outside n coming in n hiding from it n I also remember the total sounds of silence back then during the entire incident!!!

I DID see the moon waning across the sun n fading past us here in Elyria. I actually saw it moving!! I did NOT have glasses but I SURE do wish I did!!! I ALWAYS fear some cataclysmic disaster is going to occur n night in the daytime is going to get stuck n we would be sunk like the dinosaurs 🦕 🦖 were!!! Just a little of my characteristic paranoia, but when dealing with Mother Nature, one NEVER knows!!! Aaah, yes, once AGAIN, humanity is saved but by the "Grace of God"!!! Praise to the LORD!!
