I don't know what changes they've made to RDP in Windows 10, but WOW, the results are pretty satisfying! As long as you don't have a metered connection to worry about, with a fast connection on either end it's entirely doable with very decent results.

I just tested out Prepar3D v5 (Graphics on Ultra, Sliders 7/8 the way up) on my home machine (HP Z840, Dual E5-2620v3, 32G, 3070 Ti) via RDP through an IPSEC tunnel to my laptop (Lenovo W520, i7-2760, 16G, Quadro 1000M) over my phone's LTE hotspot. Looked like it was drawing about 4.5Mbps throughput, but the graphics were PHENOMENAL compared to the results I'd be getting running natively on the laptop. I wouldn't be able to get 15 FPS even at the lowest possible settings.

My home lan is 100M, it's laggy with default settings.Mainly I use remote desktop to connect to main machine with UE4 and a dedicated GPU, I can see the fps is around 120, but when connect with rdp it seems that only 30~40 max.

Hi, I've followed the steps to set up on my host PC, but i did not see an improvement in frame rate, both sides are win 10 pro and the host has a 3070ti running inside. what may go wrong?

Great video! Our NAS bit the dust and I want to repurpose put my main computer in a larger case and repurpose it as a NAS/remote desktop. It has Win 10 pro and I would do a little bit of gaming from it from time to time. Would RDP be acceptable for any access to the Win environment? Or would you suggest Parsec at this point for gaming over the LAN, specifically?

I can see, even through this YouTube video, that the game lags a lot. I imagine the experience for your eyes must be even worse. High frame rate numbers does not equal a good experience alone.

After I enable the H.264 AVC 444 policy on the machine to be connected, the left and right channels of the remote audio output may be reversed shortly after the connection, and the connection must be disconnected to return to normal. (Sometimes it suddenly returns to normal.) Especially when the network is unstable. When I disable it, it goes back to normal.

Im recentely try to play games thru the RDP but i have a problem to use my mouse for gaming (Genshin Impact), someone told me that the windows rdp dont provide a "relative mouse movement" and without that its impossible to play any game with RDP.
There is any solution for that?
