I have a little bit of insider insight here. The first time the regime sent demands, Harvard's president sent the most limp-wristed email possible to us, so a bunch of us were sensing that he was going to follow Columbia's example. The faculty wrote and signed a letter saying "don't you dare, " but it was met with silence. I was fully expecting to be disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised. We're hypothesizing that it was the second list of demands on Friday that actually pushed Harvard into resisting.
TL:DR, Harvard is holding the line for now, but we need to keep public pressure up so that they don't capitulate.

I think it’s amazing that Harvard is resisting selling out their free speech. Lead by example. I hope they continue to hold out and serve as encouragement to other schools. This is super important right now. ✨

I'm a Graduate Student at John's Hopkins. They are one of many universities suing the shit out of the Trump administration. As far as I'm aware, based on the emails I've gotten from the Dean, they don't have plans to bend the knee. That said, they are also talking about the fact that we've lost federal funding and how much that matters for all research. I guess we'll see. I don't see John's Hopkins on that amicus, but I do see University System of Maryland which I believe they're under (and I'm happy to see bc I've got my undergrads from UMD). 💪
