Deciding on what to throw in the recycling bin can be confusing, especially when it comes to items like shopping bags, food pouches and shrink wrap. CBS News correspondent Meg Oliver rides along with one New Jersey pilot program that’s helping recyclers get it right when it comes to plastic film.

I'll never forget when I was part of a communal recycling bin and I once told someone he was putting his trash into the recycling bin, not the trash. He called me a b**** and continued to put garbage in the recycling.
The trash was literally right next to it.

This ultimately should fall on the city recycling programs to correctly sort and recycle items or at the very least provide clear guidelines of what they'll accept ... Instead they want people to do all the research and sort everything for them... Recycling programs should recycle items even at a loss... We pay so many recycling fees for stuff that just end up in the bins because it's cheaper to do so...

Was an ok video until the “difficulty of sorting” was stressed by that news anchor. We do NOT need perpetuation that it is “too hard” to sort recyclables. People will use it as justification for their laziness to learn to do it right.

It’s also not as difficult as these anchors are making out to be. Just follow the photos.

As soon as every homeless encampment person starts to recycle and minimizes their need for collecting you can sign me up. Until then, all trash goes in one container and the people that charge me to pick it up can sort through and decide what they want to do with it.

Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in human form, died on the cross for the sins of every person. He was buried and rose again three days later. Eternal life is greater than anything on earth.
it’s received by faith (trust) & repentance. John 6:47 Truly, truly, I say to you, he that believes in me has everlasting life.

Turn away from sins and walk on the path of life ✝️
