I've gotta say that in my mind you taught this way higher level than Teddy Atlas in his courses. GOLDEN!

This stuff gives freedom while defending, and brings you the opportunity to set up better counters and attacking strategies. With that said, it's imperative to drill all these movements till death. They won't come out easy. Love 'em Charles.
Note: would be awesome to see some of these "on the move" slips along with left and right check hooks.

2 years ago? How'd I miss this one? I can't say how much I appreciate the way you break down the body mechanics on these movements. Thank you. Beautiful floor by the way.

unbelievable, the things we presume to know, until they're demonstrated, correctly.
i thought i KNEW this stuff.
clearly, not.
it's a Singular Honor, to have this opportunity to learn things, taken for granted.
thanks!

Mr. Charles, thank you, this is incredible. For example, a backward slope with a step of the hind leg, I have not seen this anywhere, and I would not have thought of it myself. Not a standard movement, but after all, how many things can be done with it if you combine this bias with other actions

"Hey coach kindly make a video on training routines, what kind of training should we do, how many hours to train per day, all that stuff.
Please make a video on this too."

Very intersting. This is the first time I've seen slipping on the move broken down. I had to rewind to several times to not get confused by when the slip was done as I have never been taught anything other than the static slip and the front forward slip.

its crazy how in boxing the LITTLEST of movements make HUGE differences in how far away your opponents punch is. i come from a football ( american football ) and track background so i am use to BIG EXPLOSIVE steps to create distance.

i am 34 now and just recently took up boxing and that has been my BIGGEST issue is trying not to EXPLODE away from every punch when i slip /weave. etc

would love to see you do a video on how YOU would incorporate these slips into your stance while "hopping" ( like how ALI taps from foot to foot ( not the ali shuffle just his normal BOUNCE )

cuz thats another thing i am having trouble with... is going from the balls of my feet / slight bounce to a slip. it feels SLOW and awkward.

anyways. . great video !
