Crazy that the album picture was taken just a few days after the incident in 1999. Look at him smile. Absolutely no remorse.

I am a DJ and can proudly say I have played songs from this album at 3 different Christmas events without being noticed

Unironically this album will be played during Christmas day at many houses. The kids who think they are getting away with something will just be providing nice Christmas music for their families.

Dude, I had Humanities class today and our I had to go to the IT to fix my laptop. When I came back to the classroom, our teacher was there, playing THIS ALBUM!!! I asked him if he knew this album, and he said that he just searched: Christmas music on YouTube, and it was the first one that popped up. BRO. MY HEART. I WAS LIKE NO FRICKIN WAYY.

can't wait to slip this in my dad's Christmas playlist to see how long it takes for him to notice it's not Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin

Man’s like “I’ll fuck around and sing something, it’ll be funny” and ended up making the Christmas album that will be the new standard for many, many households for years to come

Jschlatt releasing a (legitimately good) Christmas album wasn't on my bingo card for 2024.

Jschlatt, you NAILED this. Absolutely, nailed it. I came into this completely blind; had no context for this other than the thumbnail and title on my home page and the one compellation video I watched of you showing off your cat. I had NO idea what to expect, other than "Oh, he made a Christmas album cover. Let's see if it's any good.".

The first line. Not even 20 seconds into the first song, and you have me double-taking, trying to make sure that this isn't some grandmaster re-mastering of the original song that somebody slapped your face onto just for clickbait. Just...dude. You NAAILLLED it. The tone. The charm. The vibe. The style. Just, everything of those old songs, you captured it and brought it to our time. And with a voice that couldn't be more perfectly matched for it.

This. THIS, is what I imagine those songs would've sounded like if they had been able to record them on modern sound equipment.

Just, thank you. Even if this started as a joke, thank you to you and everyone who contributed to this to make it a reality. This is a genuine piece of art that will warm the hearts of countless people for years to come. (Especially Robbie Elliott on the cover art. I just feel like he ought to get more attention for the phenomenal work he did on the cover.)

And Jschlatt, please keep singing. I'm not saying you should quit YouTube and pursue a singing career, or do a live concert if you don't feel comfortable doing it. But please, don't hid that voice of yours and let it go to waste. If nothing else, between this and your cover of "My Way", you've truly got a gift and a talent for breathing new life into those old classics. Merry Christmas Jschlatt! And an amazing New Year!

I’m playing this for my mom. And she’s actively singing along with him. I told her a content creator made this and she responded with, “It’s better than anything else you’ve showed me honestly.”

Schlatt- you got me brownie points with my mom. Thank you.

I’m actually genuinely glad and proud that Schlatt genuinely made an entire Christmas classics album for us to enjoy, because honestly his voice is really *really* fit for it

Sadly he died in a plane crash in 2001. My mom fortunately got to see him preform live. Fly high Big Schlatt and merry Christmas to y’all!

My biggest surprise are the credits in the description. He actually went out and recorded this at a legendary Hollywood studio that Marvin Gaye, Dolly Parton, RHCP, and the Jackson 5 have used previously (and someone seems to have added Schlatt to the Sound Factory's wiki page for the time being), got it mixed and mastered by industry veterans who've previously worked with huge mainstream acts like Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, and Paul McCartney, and got it pressed on vinyl. This is a full budget LP.
