I love how Shipmaster and Lord Hood were ready to rip each other’s throats out. Then you have Chief and Arby, who both set their sh*t aside in the beginning of 3 because of the Gravemind’s influence. Also, they know the stakes better than anyone.

FUNFACT: The Elites ultimately redeemed themselves when they, independently (without being asked to) sent their fleet to protect a defenseless Earth from the Flood. The Elites effectively saved Earth from total annihilation.

My favorite cutscene in this entire game for the sheer amount of detail. You can tell they're not excited about working together, but at the same time they're willing to do what must be done. Also, there's something to be said for the badassery of just.... everyone getting ready for battle.
