This just made me emotional. I was born with a disability that's been slowly deteriorating my body and have never been able to hold down a job despite years of trying and getting fired. I wish more businesses like this existed.

The robots are cute af AND they allow more flexibility allowing disabled folks to still work even when they aren't able to work in person. That's pretty awesome ngl.

This is so wonderful! I hope this model becomes common, this is such a good way of simultaneously giving disabled people a way to care for themselves and society and for staffing places like cafes and restaurants that are not always easy to staff in areas with expensive property prices or low populations!

I love how in Japan they actively find ways to accommodate for people in these situations to still find meaningful employment and satisfaction. Not everyone wants to sit at home and collect disability, some are aching to get back into work and contribute but simply can’t. I have seen something similar called bear paw cafe I think? Operated by people with social anxiety

What a wonderful solution for giving people a purpose and sense of achievement who would otherwise be isolated.
I am largely homebound and I would absolutely LOVE to do this. ❤
