This is a good start. But there are much more post install matters to do. I do keep a long list of extra package list I need after the base is install (i3gaps WM) like mlocate, pluma, caja, tmux, etc. And of course, you must have "ILoveCandy", right? Tune parallel downloads to 4. But if you do enough research, it will be stable. Peace :-)

Interesting. I does work, but as you eluded to, it is more of a 'bare metal' installer. You'd have to know what you want, and what it's called to go with your install. When it prompted me for additional packages, it got grumpy for things like openssh-server and the like, complaining it couldn't find them. It'll take some research to expand my knowledge base. I really like the ability to select specific servers in Debian's bare metal install...

Beware on Arch install that it will partition you root drive at about 20GB. Once you install a DE, Libre Office and some other bits and pieces that will be nearly full.

Also I always install network manager to give me an easy life.

I tried the archinstaller about a year ago. I abandoned Arch because I could not get my hp printer to connect via CUPS. Please show us how you connect your printer via CUPS after you install Arch. Thanks in advance.

What I would like to see is this script installing to a partition without erasing the disk for multi-boot. It doesn't need to do the partitioning, that could be done before the install with g-parted or something. Everyone always shows installing to a VM but in real life I want Arch on a ssd's partition.

I don't know how it is with previous versions of that script, but current version in arch distro is full of bugs.Installing Arch using it is a big misunderstanding .

As a Debian, Raspbian newbie, I hate Arch.
Its because most Arch developers don't want to help out Debian newbies. I have bad experience with 2 Arch developers.

With raspbian the community and support is huge. Many examples & how to's.
