I have vivid memories of falling asleep to my Mom reading me "The Secret Garden" and other classics, taking me to live theater, buying me simple mariette puppets. My Grandfather and Great-grandmother were story tellers and stretched our imagination. As a Mom, Ive read to my children since before they were born, kept all types of materials and media available to them to express themselves, and took them to live theater since they could sit up in my lap. Imagination, books, creativity, arts, are all so important.

SHEER MAGIC, WONDER, AND AWE...! have been living a million lives since i was 2 (when my parents claim that i started reading), and despite moving over 100 times in my life (from different cities to different states to different countries to different continents), my personal library goes with me, though it has shrunk down to ~3, 000 volumes. and i am an artist. and i always have animals and plants in my life. i am one of the richest people i know! thank you, GR and Rakel!

I recall reading Wayne Dyer who wrote that life “de-geniuses” us. Raked is spot on when she says that when we start school, our capacity and inclination to dream are limited and thwarted. I have always been a dreamer, and idealist, but life will do its best to discourage such a way of being (unless one is a commercial success, and thereby crossing into the “realistic” or practical realms). But now that I am getting close to retirement, I am returning to that wonderful state of not caring what others think but just being connected with the spirit of life. I send you a heartfelt appreciation for your beautiful films.
