iOS 14.5 Beta 5 released for developers and public beta testers. Also, iPadOS 14.5 Beta 5, watchOS 7.4 Beta 5, tvOS 14.4 Beta 5 and macOS Big Sur 11.3 Beta 5 are out as well. This update brings changes to Music, a lot of bug fixes, Find My to add devices such as AirTags, has updates to the PodCast App, updates to the News app, Face ID with a Mask and more. What I want is for Apple to create and post one YouTube Video about all of the changes in 14.5, and a separate video about all of the new features in 14.5.
Updates are great, if they work right, but getting more and more confusing to us non-programmers.
Apple has hundreds if not thousands of creative people who make incredible software, but to us mere mortals, it is more than this mortal can comprehend or remember.

most of the physical features i’ve wanted for ios are already a part of the software. but one thing i would like changed in ios 15 is the battery settings section. the data and insights are confusing to most people i ask. they don’t know what it’s telling them or showing them. i think they need to revise that menu and condense the information to make it more readable.

Well so far 14.5 pb5, on IPad Pro, 2019, the battery is shocking, very poor, 31% after 4 hours . Was charged to 100at 6:30am

When is iOS 14.5 coming out!!! I’ve been waiting for soo loong (since February.) I don’t really care about any of the stuff they’re adding, I just want to use my PS5 controller and its all it is to me. Why can’t they just release it now then after a couple of days, release another version like iOS 14.5.1 or something.

Unfortunately the green tint has come back worse than beta 4 ☹️. In beta 4 it would occasionally occur in the black bars when watching video but that’s it. Now it’s on any true black screen like Twitter, settings, messages etc. Hope this gets fixed in the final release

Green tint on mine is now fixed. But not because of a software update, but for the reason that I had the display module replaced at the service center. And now, green tint is gone.

But one thing I observe in the new display module is that it has a little bit of red tint-haze on the bottom part of the screen. Though it is not that too much visible unless you pay attention to it (unlike the very noticeable green glow on the edges before) and I'm now okay with it. I guess some iPhone 12 displays are really of having low quality panels. It is only that some people are not noticing it.
