GTX Titan XP vs 1080 vs 1070 vs Titan XM - Octane Render

Here we test Otoy's Octane Render 3 with the new Nvidia Pascal series of GPU's. GTX Titan X Pascal vs 1080 vs 1070 vs Titan X Maxwell all get a go to see who is fastest but also Price to Performance is also considered.

Below are the clocks for the tests:

XM - 1163mhz Base - 1263mhz - 1363mhz - 1413mhz
XP - 1809mhz Base - 1964mhz - 2075mhz - 2113mhz
80 - 1860mhz Base - 1885mhz - DNF - DNF
70 - 1900mhz Base - 2000mhz - 2085mhz - DNF

Phillip - after many tests I did on 1060, 1070 and 1080 I may say that using the modified bench software does not reflect true speed of Pascals. Namely (I wrote about it on the forum) the bench software shall have parallel and tile samples set to their max values to stress gpus fully (at least at 95%, or even 99% - gpu usage, not gpu power). Then in real life scene in PT kernel 1080 (at 2050mhz and 5500mhz on mem) is exactly 11.4% fasten than Titan X Maxwell that scores 142. This approach would lead to 158 score for 1080. IMO I think we shall see cuda 8 fully used for Pascals to have a true picture of Pascal. Anyway - thank you for you effort and the video. I am very surprised that XP scored that high cause we (with some other guys) haven't reached that high score using 7 XP.

Nice one Philip... just bought 2x1080 and all the water cooling gear for 4x1080 .. so can't wait to get it all going... I think Aus numbers are a little different to UK numbers... the 1070 is keeping up in price with the 1080 too well, haha :)
