I LOVE this! You are SO GOOD at this, Josie; you organize all the components of a video to make it fun and fast and interesting and packed with information. On top of which, the music is perfect. Such a great idea. I’m always looking for new ways to style what’s in my wardrobe. The weather here in Texas never really gets cold enough to wear a lot of my winter wardrobe but I try to wear them when I can. Definitely more into neutral colors since watching you. Honestly I think you could make a trash bag look like a stylish outfit. You’re so great at this !

This is one of my favorite videos you have ever done! The color palette is neutral, but the items selected possess texture and proportions that keep each outfit feeling new and different than the last. I will be using this as inspiration when packing for my next trip.

Hi Josie
I really liked the concept behind this challenge. I have spent the summer (I live in Australia) sorting out my wardrobe. I only got rid of a few items as I am really happy with most of my clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. However, I mostly rearranged items so it is more visually appealing when I am thinking of what to wear for the day. I bought all the same hangers, the ones with the velvet covering and I stack them so the number of hangers is fewer. I also put all my shoes into clear shoeboxes. Everything just looks better presented and I do feel as though as I am shopping in my own wardrobe. I folded all my clothes in drawers using the konmari method and what a spacesaver it is !! I created an extra third of the space in each drawer by following her method.
I also pack away out of season clothes and have been doing that for years and years and years. Its nice to visually remove clothes I won't be wearing so they are not adding to the bulk, plus its nice to see them again when the weather changes!!
The more I reflect on this issue, I realise I actually feel better when I have a smaller wardrobe. Too many choices is overwhelming and I end up reverting to the same old items, but I now have a rotation system so I ensure I wear everything I have. So I am moving more towards having basic, classic, high quality pieces in my wardrobe. This video was so well done and it is exciting to see more of this from you. You definitely have a signature look and you are so committed to seeing it through in everything you wear.
Personally, I would like to see more of this style of videos from you. I am not into fast fashion at all and I like a curated wardrobe. You really are sensational in the friendly way you greet us. I love how you call us darlings, it makes me feel welcome. The fact that you have formally studied fashion shows that you really do know what you are talking about and it shows. Keep doing what you are doing, but I also applaud the fact that you are growing and learning and listening to us and aiming to be more sustainable, too. It is a challenge but we are on spaceship Earth together.
