I began this audiobook project some years ago when some friends of mine jokingly said they'd read A Song of Ice and Fire (my favorite fantasy series) if I personally recorded the whole series in audiobook form and sent it to them. Having now made my way almost through the first two books in the series, I decided to join the small community of people who post their own amateur audibook readings to youtube, and share my efforts.

I have no intention of profiting off of the work that is copyrighted to George RR Martin. This upload is a tribute to a series I deeply love, and I strongly encourage you to purchase these books. You won't regret it.

If you ever get into a situation were you or someone else have a foreign object in your body like a knife or an arrow, DO NOT pull it out like Jon does in this chapter, the object functions as a plug in the hole it have caused, if at all posible let it stay there until you get to a hospital

Ygritte be like “you know nothing, Jon Snow” but doesn’t know what a castle or a tower is lmao. She, understandably, knows nothing but disdain when it comes to the other side of the wall. She doesn’t know that people are people regardless of what side of the wall they’re on while Jon gains a knowing of this first hand. I think Ygritte knows less than Jon.

my little brother saw the picture for this episode and said it looked like a place from Dark Souls. It’s interesting that people don’t place more blame on Elden Ring for delaying The Winds of Winter! Probably because most deem it worth it, but for the non video game playing Asoiaf fans i bet they hate it lol.

Ygrite had Jon-boy Wussy-Phipped terribly!! She had him so sprung he ended up getting shanked over it from his own brothers… although I believe he was right to too become allies with the Free-Folk against the Others!!!
