I would like to know the story behind this explosion. As of now it can very well be just a regular major accident. I don’t personally don’t see why certain countries would sabotage this just to delay the delivery of a newly built icebreaker. It seems pretty irrelevant from any kind of international security viewpoint. This vessel has a history of poor management and maintenance, with multiple bad inspection results, stating significant deficiencies in safety equipment and procedures on board.
