Modern Farmhouse Christmas Home Tour with Matilyn Vivo

Mom and I were pretty disappointed when we learned that the local home tours that we look forward to every year around Christmas were canceled. So rather than letting 2020 disappoint us again, we decided to create virtual Christmas Home Tours for us all to enjoy. Every day this week you’ll see a new home up on the blog and you are going to LOVE every single one. Each tour will include video AND photos for you to take in all the inspiration to the fullest extent. You can find yesterday’s home tour linked at the end of this tour.

Today on this series is our friend Mattie of @RusticVivoDesigns. This is our first time touring Mattie's home on the blog so we also shared some before and afters of her remodel. I just love that she loves the Lord and credits him for everything good in her life. I also appreciate that she doesn't seem to have Santas everywhere (maybe there were and they didn't get shown)
Those dining room chairs are fabulous, love them. Everything was so fresh and airy looking. I love the simplicity of Marilyn's house though I am a maximalist.

Q for Maddie. How much does interior design consultation cost? Wife and I just bought a 3000 sqft renovated farmhouse and we have no idea where to start. We left an 800sqft apartment

I have watched this video a couple of times. It's my favorite. All 3 of you are just so down to earth. I feel like I could invite you over for a cup of coffee and very easily have a great conversion with all of you. This home is lovely and the story about the Charlie Brown Christmas tree is very touching. It's wonderful how God loves us and takes us through hard times in our lives if we will trust Him. Please do another tour with Mattie next spring or summer if she would agree. Merry Christmas ladies.
