National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing India's flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called "Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana" & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and implementing "Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission" to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. NHA is leading the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in coordination with different ministries/departments of the Government of India, State Governments, and private sector/civil society organizations.

The National Health Authority (NHA) under its flagship scheme of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) announces to allow third-party applications or apps to access the citizen-centric services related to PMJAY like list of empanelled hospitals, check beneficiary eligibility, check and raise grievance after treatment, beneficiary wallet details (upcoming) through public APIs.

The extent of access will be limited and in case of any misuse impacting the performance of the AB-PMJAY scheme & solution will result in blocking any such application and entities as per the policies of MoHFW and taking any other appropriate action in accordance with the law.

This access may provide an opportunity for any citizen/ third-party/Agency/ group to access citizen-centric services under AB-PM-JAY for creating innovative and public assistance uses.
