Three Americans are finally heading home after years in Chinese custody. The United States reportedly brokered a high-stakes prisoner swap, securing their release after being "wrongfully detained" in China.

President-elect Donald Trump names a veteran from his first term as the new U.S. trade representative, tasking him with leading the next tariff agenda.

Some Chinese exporters have been looking for alternatives to the U.S. market. We take a look at how Trump’s tariffs could accelerate the trend.

The United States is sending its latest nuclear-powered submarine to Guam—a military base closer to China than to Hawaii. What does the Navy say propelled the move?

Why would any American visit Iran, North Korea, Russia, or China while so much tension is going on?

Tariffs did not impact the U.S. economy as severely as some critics predicted, particularly the fear that they would cause "crazy inflation." In 2018, during the first round of tariffs implemented by the Trump administration, studies showed that China absorbed 75-85% of the tariff costs, significantly reducing the burden on U.S. consumers. Despite warnings of skyrocketing prices, there was virtually no inflationary impact during that time. Additionally, China's currency devaluation made its goods cheaper, further offsetting the expected price increases in the U.S. These factors demonstrate that the dire predictions of widespread inflation and severe economic strain in the U.S. due to tariffs were largely overstated.

Has Daniel Lacalle never heard of the FairTax? It would eliminate the income tax (and the 16th amendment).

It pains me how stupid people sound when they say tariffs don't cause inflation. If you're a business that makes 10% profit on items you sell, and then you suddenly have a 10% tariff put on your goods, are you going to just stop making a profit and keep selling your goods at the same price? Of course not, you're going to increase your prices which the consumer will end up paying for. I agree we should be putting more tariffs on China, but claiming it won't raise prices is just idiotic.

S.S. Taiwan is world largest and heaviest AirCraft Carrier, Generl MacAuthor said so. S.S. Taiwan is 200 miles lone, 60 miles wide and weighs 100 million tons. Besides, S.S. Taiwan is unsinkable, General MacAuthor said so. S.S. Taiwan carries over 500 fighter jests an thousands of missiles of all sorts and increasing. Next year S.S. Taiwan will have 10000 drones of all sorts. Furthermore, it is free: free cost to build and free of her operation cost. Rather, S.S. Taiwan offers 3.75% of GDP to defend herself. Trump would offer S.S. Taiwan to CCP?One S.S. Taiwan is holding up the world largest Navy, CCP’s Liberation Army Navy at bays along the Coasts of China.

Broad-based Tariffs are ineffective geopolitically, and harmful economically —especially to the broad-based tariff country's economy.

Trump's tariffs are foolish.😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅

I recently re-subscribed to this channel, and it is great to see Tiffany wearing something newer than her sky blue pant suit combo. However, she still wears a lot of blue. Importantly, in this video, I am not sure if I would advise her to wear that grapefruit colored blouse underneath her blue jacket.
