This quarantine has me thinking I want to be a farmer now.

I’m slowly converting my backyard into a permaculture yard. My wife thought I was weird at first when I started swapping all of our non fruit bearing flower bushes and trees for fruit producing trees and plants but now she likes it.

I am from the Arabian desert. Not far from me though is where my heritage started in lush Mesopotamia. Unfortunately the Tigris and Euphrates are damaged and its been my dream to one day be part of the group that restores them and agriculture back to the land. Thanks for the inspiration.

Richard Perkins and his style of regenerative agriculture in pasture raised animals is amazingly rebuilding the soil from hard pan tilled pasture worked as most farms do, to an amazing diverse ecoculture in the soil and no dig market gardening! he is where i first saw the caterpillar tunnels that led me to Farmers Friend excellent tunnels! !
