Indian students watch banned BBC documentary critical of PM Modi • FRANCE 24 English

University students in India’s southern state of Kerala burned an effigy of Narendra Modi in response to the banning of a BBC documentary critical of the prime minister. “India: The Modi Question” looks at Modi’s role during deadly 2002 sectarian riots. The broadcaster's programme alleges the Hindu nationalist, premier of Gujarat state at the time, ordered police to turn a blind eye to an orgy of violence there that left at least 1,000 people dead, most of them minority Muslims.

I remember something completely different from this topic but few years back almost 7 year ago France 24 released a video on India's digital economy and UPI and then thay used to say how could a poor country implement this with such a huge population . The population of Muslims in Gujarat is about 5.8 Million people and over 1000 people died in the Gujarat Riots out of which 254 were Hindus, How is this communal clash an ETHNIC CLEANSING?? I would like to request BBC to not over exaggerate news like this, I know this video was Interviewed in Kerala or somewhere down south in the communist heartlands, where they are always critical of no matter who comes to power in India

Now the question is do we trust the word of Indian Judicial system...since the Supreme Court of India has given PM Modi a clean chit twice... especially after a full investigation by an SIT committee. BBC should make documentaries about "Kohinoor and The great loot in India" or "Rascism in 2023 Britain" and even their obsession with the royals! incase they are running out of documentary topic ideas..The timing of this documentary is key to understanding why this is propoganda😅
