nitrogen/chips ratio in plastic bags reached a point where we're not buying chips anymore
we're buying nitrogen with some chips extra

But you don't need to fill 2/3 of air or nitrogen

I understand the fact that they are trying to keep it fresh with that nitrogen thing, but why fill like 3/4 of the bag with it when we could had more :(

BULL. SHIT. They don't have to make the packaging so much bigger then. It can be the same size as there are chips maybe a tiny bit bigger.
They are ripping you off making you think you're buying a lot when you aren't - it's simple marketing.

But they don't need half the bag, they use, "nitrogen", to defend themselves, but look at pringles, their chips don't go stale, these companies have no excuses

Hey, the more air in the bag, the better the few chips you get will be, I’m not complaining

Let me summarize it for you:

The reason why a bag of chips is half full is because of a condition called Rancidity. Rancidity is when fats and oils get oxidized, and it becomes unsafe for consumption. Chips have fats and oils, meaning that they’re likely to get rancid. To prevent this, nitrogen gas is sprayed on the top half of the bag by manufacturers. Here’s why: As mentioned in the video, nitrogen is odorless and tasteless, and it doesn’t react to fats and oils, so rancidity doesn’t take place.

Now kneel before me before I’ll take your souls.

I use to work in a factory that made chips (or crisps, wherever part of the world you come from) Another reason for that so called empty part of the bag is not only for freshness but it acts as a cushion. If that wasn't there, you'd end up with a bag of extremely broken and very hard to eat chips. They'd end up like crumbs☮

10 years ago Lays bags had way more chips in them and from what I remember they still taste exactly the same.

1:13 "You probably shouldn't eat the entire bag"

I'll take my chances. I paid for it, so of course i'm gonna eat the entire bag.

the reason why they are not full is because they are actually pretty full when they first made it, but during transportation, the bag got thrown around and the chips started to line up in a more stable position thus making the bag look have empty

0:05 "It may look like they're filled with air... but the bag is actually packed with nitrogen gas." Basically air?

you can still pack the bags at least 80% full and still fill it with nitrogen.
