Beautiful and informative! Permaculture is the future! I’ve always loved how it was slightly political... but ultimately common sense. We should thank the original permaculturalists, indigenous people, and others along the way who have merged ancient techniques with science. They have given us this key to our future in the age of climate collapse.

During the dry season do you use city water to fill your bathtub duck pond?

Do you water your comfrey at all? It's not listed as drought tolerant on any online resources, but it's known for having deep roots and I wonder if mine will do ok without summer water in partial shade.
