I used my old inverter and solar system with ACCL. Its working like pro with very minimal investment. Its enough for normal usage. I can make best use of solar energy and in rainy season if required I can charge directly from mains.

Hi..in a hybrid inverter, will the inverter let the battery to be charged from solar power during a long power cut with no power from the grid? Please clarify. This would be useful during floods/cyclones when there is a long power cut and inverter battery would run out of will be helpful to have it charging from solar panels...please clarify if that would work.

Let's say If I buy Normal Inverter and battery cause that's what I can afford at the moment and In future I decide to get Solar Inverter. So, Do I have to full setup again or Just solar panel would be suffice?

If enough solar power is generated, I want to use that solar power to run the load and charge the inverter battery, and if there is not enough solar power, use the KSEB power to run the load and charge the inverter battery, and if there is not enough solar power and KSEB power, use the battery power to run the load. Any solar inverter supporting this working model?

Suppose I want to use such inverter where there is no Conventional power is available, will it work?
I believe the inverter will charge the battery only when mains 230V available, irrespective of Solar Available or not, am I right?
So when I am using it in completely standalone environment where there is no 230 V available at all, the Off Grid system will work?
Or I will need 230 Volt to just make sure inverter senses that mains is available, but as the solar is available it will charge from Solar?

In short, can it charge the batteries while the inverter being used in Day time?
I have existing 1KW 12 Volt Panel system which is only used to charge Lead acid cells and all my Loads are DC 12 Volt loads working fine with just a PWM charge controller.
