Don Bradley said that the solution to knowledge is more knowledge, meaning, if you find out something that makes you uncomfortable or causes a faith crisis, learning the whole picture will usually solve that.

Fun fact: When Lehi's party entered the empty quarter, they began eating raw meat. There is no plant life in this area. In 1912, Robert Scott's party was stranded in Antarctica and learned from the natives that raw meat prevents scurvy. It happens to be high in vitamin C. Lehi's party and Scott's party would have died of scurvy had they not eaten raw meat. Another lucky guess by J.S.:)

Very Awesome interview. I am a blood descendant of Martin Harris. My Dad told me he recalls his great grandmother telling him when she was a little girl she remember Martin Harris in his old age bearing. Powerful testimony that he saw an angel and was able to view and handle the gold plates. I am able to use family search and pull up his names and view some additional stories and memories. Seeking a confirmation from the spirit will be your greatest witness!

After watching all I could from FAIR and especially loving 99% of Dan’s videos while he was with them, I could not get enough of him. That’s when I found LDS Q&A and then finally Midnight Mormons (now Ward Radio) and Stick of Joseph, Comeback Podcast, Thoughtful Faith etc! More knowledge helped me a ton, I never really had a crisis of faith in the restored gospel, but I struggled with God and still do to a degree. Dan calms my soul, thank you for sharing!

He is right when he says study more to overcome that faith crisis. It’s like having the forbidden fruit, then under covenant to continue without knowing fully why, but through that faithful endurance, further light and knowledge which is promised does come. Don’t sell the tokens and signs.

DAAANNNN!! Dan Peterson is in my top 5 of church scholars. He's packed with knowledge and is a wonderful communicator. I routinely scour the internet and will watch anything with his name on it. Even if that means I have to put up with the cringey jokes and bro-speak of the boys who host this channel.

Thank you for interviewing Dan Peterson. I always enjoy listening to him, as he is one of my favorite LDS scholars. I have a copy of the Witnesses movie that the Interpreter Foundation made, which Dan commented on in this video, along with the docudrama that he also mentioned. They were very well done, and in my opinion the best dramatization yet of the 3 witnesses.
