The "Growling Viking" hits it out of the park, AGAIN.!🤙🏻 I listened to the beginning of the song a few times and this guy really has a beautiful voice. He needs to build on that going forward in this competition.

Love hearing covers of Tom Waits. It is fun to compare them to Toms original. His vocals are so completely unique. One moment a crooner who smoked too many cigarettes the night before and then a carnival barker shouting out a come on, followed by an old blues hound and then hitting us with some good old punk rock. I remember reading a quote about him but can't recall who said it. "He has the voice of a man who hasn't slept since 1957"

My top 5 favorite artists/bands, in no particular order are The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Gram Parsons and Tom Waits. I've always been a fan of unconventional voices. There are some talented singers like Mariah Carrey who I'm not a fan of because they don't have the quality people like Waits have. Authenticity. When Tom sings a lyric, you believe it.

This was a good cover of one of Toms most beautiful songs. And honestly, I would have voted for him just for doing a Tom Waits song in the first place.

Besides having a great voice, he seems like such a funny guy. In the intro of the audition he said he works as a bartender and said he mostly sell beer and if a customer ask for a Cosmopolitan fex he by impulse says «we dont have that». If they insist to have the drink anyway, he google the ingredients and when he sees it has cranberry juice in it, he says «we dont have cranberry juice, I am so sorry, but do you want a beer?» LOL! He is also vocalist in a rock band and by a draw between the band members it was decided that he was the one who had to learn to sing. What a guy. 😂
