OnLive really deserves more business. They're a bit ahead of they're time, but they're great innovators, and innovation should be rewarded.

onlive just became way less of a joke. This is innovation. Always a pleasure to see it. Im sure its not perfect and has slight latency but the technology is now out there. Im impressed and cant wait to see what the competition brings to the table.

Wow, the tablet push is exactly what OnLive needed to prove itself. This is amazing! Everyone, this is where mainstream gaming will go! No more catering to the low specs of cell phones - every one run anything at top effects. Cheap prices, demos, trials, no installation, no loading times... I'm all over this!

@Kr1sVr

It's worth mentioning that you don't have to pay the monthly fee to play games you buy on it.

This is pretty amazing. Props to onlive. Problem I still have is how much Internet it uses. I only have 120 gb per month so I'm sure I would burn though that fairly quickly.

@Kelnar7 Actually no, Kelnar, you are incorrect here. You are streaming the game from onlive's servers. You don't need to plug the ipad/phone in to anything, or be in the same room as any other device. It is gaming on the go as long as you have a connection to the internet.

Glasses-less3D graphics, full-fledged PC experiences on a tablet, internet connections fast enough to stream high-end videogames...as someone who started playing videogames in the early 90's, I KNOW now I'm living in the future.

This is so innovative! I mean the graphics and the use of controllers.

""OnLive is about delivering HD graphics on devices that cant run them""
...that sentence was messed up in so meany ways.

To anybody who is 'blown away' by this, go and download OnLive for your PC, which you can get right now, and see how well it works over your wireless connection. I guarantee you'll be disappointed by the results. I'd get used to seeing that 'network problem' box in the bottom right of the screen lets put it that way.

-What Onlive does: Has dedicated servers that Run ALL of the games. That means, you're devices don't have the games installed, or do any of the work.
-What your Device does: Receives the streamed images from Onlive's server. Sends control signals to control the game. Exactly like watching netflix. And almost like watching a youtube video.
-What the $50 control does: Also connects to Onlive's server, but has a lot more buttons to control with. (It does not connect to the device. Its "Universal")

Wow...I'm impressed. Looks like I'm gonna buy a tablet, that controller, and get OnLive in the future

@Kelnar7 Sorry dude, but no. The games are run on their servers and streamed to your device (tablet, computer, phone). The reason this is so amazing is because they've worked out how to make the character react immediately even though you may be hundreds of miles away.

guy sitting on his couch streaming a game to his 15 inch tablet instead of playing a game on his 50 inch television... THE FUTURE!!!

@Kelnar7 you dont have to plug into a tv. LIke on the HTC Flyer 7" tablet you can play it right on the tablet using the overlay OR you can connect the onlive controller to the tablet and play.
Good if you're waiting for a bit between classes and want to play a game. You could also do this on your laptop with the normal Onlive service
