Tannoy Fusion 1 speakers + Yamaha A-S500 amplifier + sound test

Tannoy Fusion 1 or Mercury F1 becouse these ar the same Tannoy Fusion Hi-Fi speakers + Yamaha A-S500 stereo amplifier. Of course for these speakers can use a weaker amp - Yamaha A-S300 - Yamaha A-S301 or Yamaha A-S501 or big bro Yamaha A-S700 or Yamaha A-S801. Just listen Yamaha ampifier + Tannoy stereo bookshelf speakers sound bass music test. Tannoy Fusion 1 or Mercury F1 2-way stereo bookshelf speakers are smallest from Tannoy bookshelf series loudspeakers, next are Tannoy Fusion 2, Tannoy Fusion 3, then Tannoy Fusion 4. The same speakers look the Tannoy Mercury F2, Tannoy Mercury F3 or Tannoy Mercury F4. I also have used Monitor audio B2 and Monitor audio BX1 speakers from Monitor Audio and I like very good. About this Tannoy Fusion 1, very compact speakers, nice drivers, this small 5" inch (130mm) midbass speaker driver give very excellent vocals and sound stage, if this speakers use with good speakers stand, can get very excellent music for nice price. This speakers are so cheap.

Nice equipments and sound. I have a question, now your laptop has a volume control and the Yamaha amp has a volume control too, how do you setup these volumes? How do you reach to the optimum setup? Do you turn the volume on the software to 100% and from there you adjust from the amp? Or is there a rule to follow?

Artūrs, braliuks, have you ever tried to connect the pc to yamaha via any optical connection bypassing the usage of the external soundcard..does it sound well and work properly with yamaha's built-in dac?..cos i have an intention to buy a second amp for myself, this a-s501, for using it with external soundcard/dac or also without it, so it being connected straight through optical/digital conectors of pc internal soundcard and using this amp's own dac..haven't found any info about someone using this as501 with pc via digital optical toslink or coaxial connections:/..so i wonder how music sounds via as501 own dac and if it works properly with pc playing music..
