Dynamite had great writers yrs ago like Dan Abnett. they need a core good exclusive writers on titles of the same genre like you said.

The thing is comic marketing just suck its hard and they suck at it at the same time. Im started reading more american comics in the last year but its feels they do just the minimum and the small publishers just follow the same strategies.
Like what they do promote they comics variant covers but if you not a comicbook reader unless is something that goes viral general public does not care, they motion comic trailers and that is fine but for example Summer of Super came out and what they did to promote that? A 2 min video of 2 fat oldman talking about they like superman how can I convice my friends to buy that? If they had used the DCanimaiton to do a 30 second animation of superman flying to the sky and stoping on the pose of the cover would help a lot more than that video.
