Sorry you missed the Observation deck at the top of the utilitarian new Capitol building...There are rotating art exhibits up there in addition to the great view. I spent almost four years working on the 16th floor with a great view right up Apalachee Parkway...

That's my town! So of course I liked it! My hubby worked 34 years in the shadow of that "soviet era" LOL LOL building. Since my husband just retired, I'm glad he's home but I miss going to our pretty downtown for lunches and stuff. I've been practicing your "oh well" attitude and chill. I hope I can keep trying that during this covid crud. It's a good way to be. Blessings.

I am with you on that one. The new capitol is ugly. How could any state build something like that as a capitol I will never get. The old one is nice too bad they built that ugly monstrosity behind it.
