Minecraft, 100 Days 1 Island (#1)

In Minecraft Survival Island 100 Days we begin on an island stranded in the middle of the ocean with absolutely nothing. The goal is to progress the island as far as possible within 100 days. This series is played in Hardcore Minecraft 1.20 snapshots!!

Also huge tip: Use kelp to fuel your furnaces. Dried kelp blocks are some of the best in the game for that.

I don't know how likely you are to see this, but the reason mobs aren't spawning on that platform is because you made it out of slabs not solid blocks. Mobs can't spawn on slabs

Awesome idea for a series, dude. You look good in the golden pants, and these 100 days are gonna be good. Also, once you build that mob farm in episode 2, you mentioned spiders getting you string for a fishing rod, but that string can be crafted into wool for a bed. You probably already knew that, but a reminder couldn't hurt.

Starting on an island in a brand fresh new minecraft world, is dope.

You can start creating domes with biomes inside (so you have a lil bit of everything near you), you can go exploring everywhere and it offers a bit of a challenge (and intimacy too), you can connect the islands with bridges or boat-ways, and you have to manage your resources (when they stonks....yeah big stonks big brein time) like dried kelp to smelt and campfires to cook....recycling is your best friend

It might be worth it to let mobs spawn on your island until you get enough string to make wool blocks for a bed, and then put the lights back down. That way you could finally sleep!

Wattles make a kelp farm. Use the campfire to cook the kelp then make kelp blocks which are better than coal for furnace fuel good enough to cook more than the 9 dried kelp needed to make the block (its infinite energy) and dried kelp (not the blocks) can be used as a food source albeit a weak one. Kelp farm! Endless supply of fuel. Dried kelp blocks for fuel... Dried kelp for "food". Not the best food, but it works in a pinch.
