I love how this shows the importance on nuance, emotional intelligence based on where you are and who you're with to adjust your appropriate levels of behaviour, and how stupid the state of current activism is when it forces people into a singular uniform way of thinking in order to be advocated for. All of these people would be screamed at for internalizing their oppression.

I'll put it simply. It's more than just context. As a white person if you have to think about it before you say it, you shouldn't say it. If you grew up in a black community where you have been using it your whole life, the fluidity of your usage of it is evident thus it flies.
