In the example, the peak power of the front lobe is marked as 0db at 0 degree. I would have guessed that the half-power (-3db) line was halfway between the Origin and the Peak of the major lobe ... but it was drawn much closer to the Peak than the Origin.

How do I know where the -3db line is? Is the axis of the graph logarithmic ?

Sir ans plz you have told in previous lecture that omnidirectional antenna radiates only in plan( yx at 1:30) and it doesn't has back lobe but at 1:30 you said that it will have back lobe??
