Strips to guide vision impaired people, and other stuff to help them such as auditive traffic lights are mandatory here in France.
Just common stuff in any developped country

Backing into parking spaces is not for emergencies; it's to avoid having to back out into moving traffic.

Man I live in the Pennsylvania, USA. Most people here back into their parking space here too, that's not really special. The train receipt is dope though.

Those yellow strips comes in handy too when your feet hurts, I use them to massage my feet after walking all day with my daughter 😁

Well two of that things are also in germany but one of them is Reversed. In germany you should Park your Car with the Front to a Wall. Making it Easyer to Access the trunk and The exhaust fumes do not pollute the wall, saving employees unnecessary work to clean or repaint it. You will find in Every German Parking garage a Sign that kindly asks you to remember

Next time you visit 日本 train station in a large city, *use the handrails.* There is Braille bumps on underside of railing. Was very impressive.

Grooves along walking direction; bumps to warn of intersection. First experienced in Japan. France may have them _now, _ but not consistently implemented (some lines form encircling barrier). US often has the raised bumps at intersections, but is not universal.

We have these yellow lines with reliefs in Brazil too, but they usually cause the blind person to hit something or fall into a hole ^^"

Those parking lots are very small, if you park head in backing out is hell, so backing into the space just makes things easier.
