The perch are super picky right now..I've been out the last 3 days and only pulled up a few keepers amongst the dozen I pulled in. Hopefully the snow cover will calm the down and entice them to start biting!

Ok...your not using your speed bead correctly. Ist get the smaller size..Its the fall that brings them in. On the other rig use a minnow. When you hook the first one on the minnow, leave it. The fish swimming crazy will bring in other fish in. Now its a feeding frenzy, the big fish will respond. Then pull the minnow, reload.
