Wait I just realized something! The starters are just straight up reverse versions of the Kanto starters (except for the Fire one) We have a dual Poison Type starter, a draconic fire starter, and a starter with a cannon on its back.

I just moved to Texas and haven't really looked into Texas's history, but this region is a fun way to watch amazing fakemon and learn about Texas history. You're awesome keep it up! I would pick oilpup. A cool villain for geyserhound would be a pokemon representing corporate greed taking advantage of oilpups.

A good villain for the Oilpup line...how about a cat version of Captain Planet? If you want to change the lore, you could rig it to where these two Pokémon can have a complicated relationship like Batman and Superman.

Picking the Grass starter. Yeah I know, the 4x weakness to Fire but steel resists a lot of types and its now immune to Poison

I really love the idea of a sugar skull Pokémon. But instead of a yes starter I can see it being a part of a Legendary trio. There’s just so much potential for fun designs it would look awesome a part of a trio


Also I may have missed it but please tell me it learns the moves celebrate. I can’t imagine a piñata Pokémon without celebrate. It just feels wrong somehow.

Being from Houston 🤘🏽 it’s a tough choice between Cactillo and Oilpup!!

If I could make a suggestion I feel like Oilpup could be called Loilpup so it shows that it’s loyal and still has the oil in the name.

I know it’s a little on the nose, but l have an idea for the regional bird of the Tejas Region. Based on the Mockingbird, maybe perhaps make it a Dark/Flying type because of its prankster-esk sort of nature. Going off of the “Mocking” theme and taking it to the next level. Just a random thought.

After watching the whole video, I’d say I’m leaning into Scalebito for my starter, just because I like all of its evolutionary line. Also, for Geyerhound’s nemesis, how about a Water/Electric type cat Pokémon based on hydroelectric power as the two of them would square off for territory in the ocean

As someone born 'n' raised in Texas, i know the best enemy for Geyserhound: Chupacabra Coyote Packs!
One coyote on its own is nothing to worry about, but whole packs of them are a genuine problem for farmers!

This is really cool. I am making my own Texas reigon with a grass longhorn, fire bat, and water blue crab. The longhorn is based on western superheros. The bat is based on dancing and live music. The crab is based on football, which is the most popular sport in texas right next to rodeo. Haven't thought of a name though, so give me some name ideas for it

You know the starters are good when you can’t even deicide which to pick but I have to go with Scalebito, I love how it’s based off a horned lizard and I’ve always wanted a dragon starter, Caladrake looks so silly and I love it. The other starters are also really awesome too and I really love their origins. I really love the Tejas region and I can’t wait to see more whenever they come out. The artist also did a really great job with the designs. I recently got back into Pokemon and I love seeing all your new videos after so long. Anyways great video as always Dobbs ✨

Geyserhound's rival/enemy can be some sort of cat, or chaotic and danger pollution ( for me its opposite to the concept of Geyserhound )

I’ve seen a lot of similar posts but a grass/electric cat based on solar energy could work. It could even be based on the cactus cat since cacti don’t need much water to survive
