im a 60 year old that only just started playing fifa for 2-3 years on and off, and the 41212 is by far the most effective formation for me, its no big achievement for most but i managed to fly into div 6 very comfortably, i havent seen your tactics yet so i will definately watch it, but i find that having a speedy striker on poacher and the 2nd striker as balanced helped me alot, and the cam is messi who just passes the ball perfectly and is easy to dribble with, i also found that the CB's were covering LB and RB positions too often when i put the FBs up the ground so i have left them at stay back Fullbacks which has then balanced the CBs

Your 4-2-2-2 formation is similar to mine but I'm using one striker as false 9 and one cam as half winger, both cdm as deep lying playmakers, that 3-2-4-1 when attacking is amazing and defensively you always have the cdms close to defenders, I'm playing great football rn, also it's so important to get players with role + or ++, they move different on the pitch

Im in division 4 halfway point, and im playing against top defenders on the game. I feel it could be a formation thing, but i always feel i have to sprint back to get certain players in position. My AI dont seem to be helping out, and my opponents could just hold sprint past me. It makes me feel like im bad at the game, or am i just playing players' levels above me? i was an elite player last year. Btw thank you for the tutorials and help you give players. i enjoy your videos a lot.

@NealGuides your 4222 is working perfect mate, so many passing options in defence and attack . Really struggled with this game since release and turned rat on the 5 backs but just struggled playing like that but your 4222 just got me 8 wins on the bounce in div 3 👌🏻

Any insight on countering the 5 back formations? would like to run a main formation then switch ingame to the formation that counters 5 back when i see them using it.

I'm a bang average player so my advice to anyone else the same change your depth from 45 to 95 and watch the magic happen or your defenders and midfield just stand round like statues and don't auto block, tackle or give you any help wot so ever

Can you make a video how to hold my controller? I mean seriously. Sometimes when I use precision shot- I am very precise but my finger slips up of L3 which causes me to shoot late sometimes or to shoot inaccurate.

Yall will learn there is NO meta formation. There might be meta styles of play but not META FORMATIONS. every tactic has a counter tactic. Depending on the opponents approach you must adapt your tactics. Thats why people are running to defensive formations thinking its meta lol. I cant wait to see new players come to the PRO scene just because they are better at adapting tactically every match.

Got an question I would like to get answered if possible, from my rewards I got untradeable IF Raphinha and IF Adayemi but I really like narrow formations..

I am playing formations that have wingers now because I dont want to lose the ability to use them in my squad.

any advice?, i play 4411 with 2cms as patri and dunn, lm swanson, rm rodman, cam debinha and ST as alvarez. would you use both the lm and rm on inside forward++, and then attack with one wingback and defend in back 3 with other fullback?

Can you do meta teams that fit the formations please. I'm struggling when switched from 4-5-1(2) to 4-4-2 but I'm mostly struggling with getting a good squad in my 300k budget.

Been using the 41212 narrow with my dm playing as a cb when I have the ball, and my outside fullbacks as attacking wingbacks. I’m almost division 5, won every game and tied 1 so far. Lots of goals but gotta know how to play smart
